This post would suit an experienced teacher who is seeking a challenge in a supportive and high-performing environment or an NQT who would be fully supported to complete their induction year. The Mathematics department provides a stable learning environment for students at the school. The department is well-resourced; each classroom is equipped with an Interactive Whiteboard and there is a separate Maths ICT room within the department, providing networked computers for whole-class use. All lessons in Years 7-11 are taught in groups which are set according to mathematical ability.
The Royal Docks Community School is a rapidly improving fully inclusive 11-16 mixed comprehensive school which is at an exciting stage in its development with a 3 year plan to become ‘Outstanding’. We are located in the southern part of Newham, close to the City Airport and Crossrail development with onsite parking.
